My Solar Eclipse Experience

Monday Solar Eclipse has seemed to have made a big impact on our current national worldwide. Having the opportunity to be a student at the amazing South Carolina State University which were where the Eclipse had taken place on Monday afternoon around 2:14pm.

During this extraordinary event taken place you which had travelers from worldwide to come to Orangeburg SC, to view the beautiful Solar Eclipse as it takes place on that evening.

Many say that Orangeburg SC, was the best current destination place to view the Eclipse as it passed through. Since this was the first total Eclipse that happened in the United States tons of people stood around outside to experience the one in a life time experience.





As watching the Eclipse passes through I begin to see that how there was a few stars in the sky. Some say even the weather began to change from very hot to very chilly in seconds. The best part about it is having a chance to interview a few students on campus to see their opinions about the first Solar Eclipse in the United states. My greatest experience also was to have the chance to view such a lovely experience at my  University and to also see what others around me think about it. The Eclipse had a strong powerful lovely view to America yesterday on August 21^st. This was a moment I had to captured and share on the media. Having to stand around outside in the hot weather to wait and wait to see a moment I have never experienced was more than I could asked for on that evening.

Model Khoudia Diop Spills Her Makeup Tips for Dark Skin Tones

Darky. Daughter of the Night. Mother of the Stars. When it comes to her nearly onyx complexion, Senegalese model Khoudia Diop has heard it all. After relocating to Paris at age 15, not only did Diop find herself in a foreign country but in a region where those around her had seldom seen someone with a skin tone as deep as hers. "I would get so angry whenever I'd notice people looking at me weirdly," she says in an interview with Beauty Atlas

. "They'd even stop me on the street and ask questions about my skin color."

With her family's encouragement to disregard comments from bullies, Diop, now 19, has learned to embrace her skin tone, even coining a new nickname for herself that celebrates her dark complexion: Melanin Goddess. "I began thinking of some names of my own," she says. "I knew Melanin Goddess would be cool and could help educate people about darker skin tones."
Under her new alias, Diop has signed with the "C" Girl, an organization founded to celebrate black beauty. She's also gained nearly 350,000 followers on her Instagram page, (@melaniin.goddess), where she shares campaign images and selfies that showcase a natural glow only Snapchat filters can create for most.
