“Let me
give you a brief motivation that led me to my goal: being from a small town,
parents separated when I was in 8th grade, my parents motivating me
every day that the sky is the limit.”
Joshua
Brown, 21 years old born December 3rd 1997 from Denmark SC, born and
raise. He graduated from Bamberg Ehrhardt high school in 2015 and played
football and basketball all through his high school. Brown is a junior and attended
SC State University all three years. “SC State pretty much choice me they were the only
school that accepted my academic.”
“I played majority positions in basketball
when I was in high school.” Brown has one sister and she the oldest and no brothers.
He likes to say he’s 5,7 but he feels as a 7-footer instead.
His
favorite restaurant is IHOP because of the breakfast he says. “when I was growing
up I had pet name Pjoy, he was an American bulldog.
Brown always liked the
color blue because growing up seeing blue majority the time was a color I admired
he says. When he was only in 8th grade Brown parents separated his
mother Ruthie Brown and farther Dinnes Brown.
He is a
member of 101 Black Men Organization, National Honor Society, and Communications Club. Brown joined 101 Black Men because he wanted to make a difference with
being a role model for all young black men coming up. His hobbies are
downloading music and DJ at special events.
During
Brown extra free time he like to focus on his career which relates back to him
establishing a radio broadcasting career after graduation. “As a young child I always
had a thing for music and downloading music, shows. and games says Brown."
At the moment he
is striving to reach his goals and success. Brown is in between jobs but is
focusing on his career as a radio host.
“I do
plan on moving to a bigger city after graduation maybe Atlanta or Chicago.” Brown
consider himself as a risk taker and says he is not afraid of trying new things
